RACHEL GIUFFRE

Rachel is a Sydney based costume and production designer working in theatre, film and television. She holds a Batchelor of Dramatic Art (Design) From NIDA. Since Graduating Rachel has taken on a wide variety of design roles in events, theatre and film as well as illustration and styling.

Amongst many notable projects such as designing the costumes for Tourism Australia’s first ever hologram museum, she was recently costume designer for the feature film UNSOUND. Rachel made her debut into television as costume designer for Discovery Channels DEADLY WOMEN season thirteen and most recently costuming the Macdonald’s chicken range commercials.

UNSOUND won Best Australian Feature Film Melbourne Queer Film Festival 2020, Best Fiction Feature ATOM Awards 2020, Best Original Screenplay at The 2020 AWGIEs, Best Casting In a Feature Film at The Casting Guild Awards 2019 and Best Editing In a Feature Drama at The 2020 Australian Screen Editors Awards. UNSOUND also won Best Australian Feature Film at MQFF and will be realised nation-wide in February 2021.

Rachel is currently working on her first children’s book.
